Personality:
Calculative and calm, he is the type of person that usually thinks before he acts. This is especially so since he finds it that getting his own personal hands dirty is somewhat of a pain in the neck and would rather solve a problem either through the uses of his eloquent tongue or quick wits. However, don't expect that he won't be able to defend himself as well if needed. His main usual strategy when in a battle usually involves supporting his allies while letting them do most of the hard work.

He is also somewhat of an introvert in a sense. While he does seemed more comfortable living in his own personal space, this doesn't mean that he dislikes being around people. Just as long as they aren't too annoying and noisy, he usually doesn't mind blending in with them. Just don't expect him to talk much since he had spent most of his lifetime in his quest to dwelve deeper into the mysterious wonders that is magic, as though seeking something and had basically left him with little to no time at all for social interaction. And the fact that he views such things as mundane didn't help matters as all.

Biography:
A surprisingly talented and accomplished mage, one can often find him in places such as the local libraries, magic institutions and the likes, seemingly seeking knowledges, both old and new, about the magical aspects of the world of Gweralle. Although that is what most who had knew him assumed, his true intention of seeking them is far more deeper than just mild curiosity to those who knew him well enough. However, whatever his goals are, nobody knows with the exception of himself.

He also appears to be a legitimate wanderer and scholar from a far away lands according to the local documents, though any other details about it remains a close guarded secret. If one were to dig up the personal background and history of his family name which is Darkwind deep enough, they would notice that the Darkwind lineage had died out generations ago, long before the event of the "True Face of War" had even occurred.

Tyriel is a man full of many secrets and mysteries: What is he? What does he seek? Is he really just another fellow wanderer? Is Darkwind really his last name? If so, then how is he related to a long bygone family name? Who exactly is he? etc.

Whether some or all of his secrets will be made clear and revealed themselves in the near future, only time will tell...
