Description: Her skin is a pale, complimenting the snowy white hair that frames her face, the barely waved locks falling just beneath her shoulders. Eyes the color of ice peer out at the world around her, expression usually brimming with mingled indifference and amusement. As far as she knows she gets her eyes from her elven mother, and that's where her last name from. Her body is thin and agile, typical for a rogue.

Her skill with bladed weapons would easily make the best royal assassin weep. with fancy footwork, swift, yet powerful strikes that would easily break a man's parry, feints that would even fool the most experienced duelists, all of this combines into a dance of death that awe and, at the same time frightens his opponents. The beauty and perfection of her bladework is unparalled, and anyone who is able to even strike her once had been held in extreme high regard. To date, no one had avoided her blade.

Personality Description: Vaerina's emotions are kept hidden extremely well. Even experienced interogators could not even tell it when she was lying straight in their faces. Her natural charisma could even convince you that she was male, if she wished to. And even when she does show some sort of emotion, its hard to understand if that's how she truly feels. Many people believe there's a darker side to her that only few have seen. And that is saying quite a lot.

Abilities:

Blade Barrier:
Noted as the greatest assassin to ever exist, Vaerina is able to easily begin a dazzling display of weapon mastery. Whatever you throw at her while her blade barrier is up, steel or spell would easily be deflected, parried or blocked with relative ease.

A Girl's Best Friend...:
Vaerina's unique connection with the shadows allow her to materialize daggers, smoke bombs, chains, axes, or any small object with a simple gesture. These weapons are more potent than their normal versions as they are charged to the brim with shadow energy, enchancing them greatly.

Dancing Shadows:
Vaerina surrounds herself with shadows, before using them to translate herself, or someone nearby through time and space almost instantly. There is no limit to what she can transport or how far she can reach.

Shadow Walk:
To those who were present during King Asric's assassination describes that they had seen nothing, mostly due to Vaerina's skill with this ability. While Vaerina is under her veil of shadows, almost nothing is able to detect her presence.

Shadow Blades:
Vaerina is able to strike through armor as if it was merely paper by sheating the blade in a coat of shadows. If utilized against spellcasters, Vaerina gains a chance that she is able to silence the mage temporarily, Or a tiny chance to completely wreck the mind of the spellcaster.

Deadly Reputation:
To those who had survived watching her assassinate someone had described her as an angel of death, her dagger a herald of doom, her armor the vanguard of destruction. Even the most guarded king knows that Vaerina is able to reach him easily.

The Shadow Sovereign:
Vaerina never found a use for this ability, but if she does, the world will tremble before her. When she uses this ability, a horned skull mask forms over her face, black wings sprout from her back, and a suit of nigh indestructable black armor encases her within. This ability allows her to bypass mortal restrictions, as she is regarded as a demigod whilst in this form.

Blade of the Dead Gods:
Vaerina only gain this weapon whist in her Shadow Soverign form. A massive dark blade encased within shadows, This blade is able to crush and tear through nearly everything. It is reputed that this blade once belonged to a god, how Vaerina gained it is a mystery.

Background: When the hunted tell tales of Vaerina Deathstryke, none are sure of which are true. In whispered tones they say that her parents were murdered when she was a mere girl, learning his skill in tracking as a matter of simple survival. Others hear she was an orphan of war, taken in by the vlaanites to learn the master’s skill with a blade as they plumbed the dark forests for big game. Still others believe she was a lowly street urchin raised among a guild of cutpurses and thieves, trained in the arts of stealth and misdirection.

Around campfires in the wild countryside her quarry speaks the rumors of Vaerina’s work, growing ever more fearful: they say it was she who tracked down, and murdered the benevolent King Asric while he was at his summer home with his family, delivering his entire family's head and crowns as proof. That it was she who infiltrated the royal guard camps at Highseat, finally bringing the legendary knight Tharos to be torn apart by the bandit leaders. And that it was he who ended the career of one of the Grandmaster of the dragon heart academy, condemned as a criminal for killing the Tyrant Prince’s prized dog. The tales of Vaerina's incredible skill stretch on, with each daring feat more unbelievable than the last, each target more elusive. For the right price, the hunted know, anyone can be found.
